Elizabeth M. Vaccaro, 91, of Mountainside, N.J., former longtime resident of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Overlook Hospital, Summit, N.J. Born in Bethlehem on July 2, 1916, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Ortwein) Weinhardt. She was the wife of the late James A. Vaccaro, who died on October 15, 2007. They were married for 73 years. She was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Bethlehem. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughter, Frances Anderson and her husband Bruce of Mountainside, sister, Hilda Novasilech of Allentown, five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, James A. Vaccaro Jr., a daughter, Barbara Ann Ueberroth, and sisters, Rosina Brunell and Catherine Schenkel. Services: Viewing, 10-11 a.m. Monday, June 9, Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, followed by a funeral service there at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will be at Holy Ghost Cemetery, Bethlehem.
