The Rev. James Canada Davis, for 45 years a well-known minister of the Methodist Conference, died at his home, 2408 Main Street, early yesterday morning at the age of 69.
The venerable minister had filled many pulpits. He was loved and revered by all who knew him.
Surviving is his widow, six sons, four daughters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted at Main Street Methodist Church this morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
