URGEN ELVIN REED, age 81, of White Marsh, formerly of Harford County for most of his life, died at Franklin Square Hospital on October 4, 2005. Born in Newhall, West Virginia, he had retired from his job at the water treatment plant for the Harford County government. He enjoyed country music, cars and working in his yard. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Mr. Reed is survived by one son, Richard E. Reed of White Marsh; one daughter, Audrey Day of Monkton; one brother, Hugo Reed of Conowingo; two sisters, Rebecca Gillespie of Rising Sun and Goldie Marie Osborne of Conowingo; three grandchildren, Audrey Anna Reed of White Marsh, Athan Serdenes of Monkton, and Cooper J. Day of Monkton. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Charles J. Howard Reed and James Helton Reed; and one sister, Nellie Jeanette Roberts.
