A. Boone Shofner, 70, Buried Last Friday --
Funeral services for Abner Boone Shofner, 70, who died Wednesday night at his home in Mulberry, following a brief illness, were conducted Friday afternoon from the chapel of the Raby Funeral Home. The Rev. Carson Brittain, pastor of the Fayetteville Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Shofner was a member of the Mulberry Missionary Baptist Church and a native of Lincoln County. His parents were the late Webb K. Shofner and Ellen Darnaby Shofner.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Ella Dean, of Nashville; two brothers, E. C. Shofner of Mulberry, and D. W. K. Shofner of Cincinnati, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
