Sadie McLaughlin
Sadie McLaughlin, 2008 S.W. Edgewood road, a clerk in Portland's main post office for 31 years, died Monday at a local hospital after an extended illness. Miss McLaughlin was born March 14, 1892, in Portland. She was educated in Portland schools and was a member of the First Presbyterian church. She was a granddaughter of the late Judge and Mrs. Philip Marquam, Portland pioneers.
Miss McLaughlin is survived by a brother, Randal, Arch Cape, OR.; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Krantz, San Francisco; Mrs. Edith Dickover, San Francisco; Mrs. Jessie Watkins, Portland, and Mrs. Rebecca Knight, Portland. Three nieces and four nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at J. P. Finley & Son mortuary. Commitment will follow at Riverview Abbey.
