He was a graduate of Green Twp. High School and was a longtime farmer in the area. In addition to farming, Warren was a well driller, a mechanic and a race car driver. He worked at BK Machine in Muncie where he built engines for sprint cars which set several world records. He also attended the Bear Creek Friends Church.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 23, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester with Rev. Vernon Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery, northwest of Winchester. Friends and relatives may call from 12-3 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
