Age 76, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012. Marilyn was born May 26, 1936 in Charlevoix, MI, the daughter of Chester and Zelda (Drake) Warner. She was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1954 and spent 30 years with the Lansing School District, serving as their Substitute Teacher Coordinator. Marilyn loved the Lord and served Him well; she was given the gift of teaching children to also love the Lord. Marilyn was the children's ministry director for Michigan District, Church of the Nazarene and volunteered with the boys and girls camp at Indian Lake Nazarene Camp, along with the summer VBS throughout the midwest. Surviving are her brothers, Bruce and David Warner; life-long friend, Jean Johnson. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, 10:00 am, at South Church of the Nazarene, 401 W. Holmes Rd. with Pastor Larry McKain officiating. Interment will follow at Deepdale Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 :00 until service time at South Church of the Nazarene.
