The Armstrongs cultivated many friendships and the kind and pleasant disposition of Mrs Armstrong helped make their home a center of hospitality in the early days. Seventeen years ago Mr and Mrs Armstrong moved to Alberta, Canada where they again pioneered and where they resided until death had taken both of them. Mr Armstrong passed away fourteen months ago and Mrs Armstrong on Saturday, January 23, at 3:20 pm, being 72 years and 9 days old.

She leaves to mourn her five children namely Wm. M. of Lomond, Alberta, Roy T. of White Sulfur Springs, Montana, Mac of Taber, Alberta, Guy R. of Richdale, Alberta, and Mrs J.C. Ashley of Kensal.

Funeral services were held at Kensal at the Force Methodist church Tuesday, where Rev. Axel Lindstrom delivered a very beautiful sermon. "Going Down The Valley," "Pilot Of Galilee" and "Abide With Me" were special selections sung by the choir.
