Rosemary Reed Ionia Age 66, passed away November 18, 2012. She was born September 11, 1946 in Lansing the daughter of Gerald and Reva (Hoppes) Shinaver. She was a member of Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ionia. Rosemary enjoyed painting, drawing, sewing, karaoke, and playing bingo and was very dedicated to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William. She is survived by her very close and dear to heart friend James Tolan; daughters Carrie (Kevin) Reed, Rosalee (James) Anderson, and Tonia (Jeff) Reed; sons Gary (Tracy) Reed, Jason Clifford, Kevin (Jodi) King, and Brian "Russell" King; grandchildren Charity, Faith, Devon, Lindsey, Trevor, Kristophor, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Megan, and Haily; siblings Jerry (Barb) Shinaver, Ron (Carol) Shinaver, Terry (Marilyn) Shinaver, Jim (Nancy) Shinaver, Judy (Bill) Clark, Jayne (Ken) Simmons, Steve (Lisa) Shinaver, Tom (Sherry) Shinaver, Wendy (Don) Pohl, Daniel Shinaver, Mary (Tom) Dryzga, Pauline Holton, Kathy (Dale) Mikesell, and Joy (Victor) Cardenas; many nieces and nephews. The Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 24, 2012 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia with Rev. Thomas Boufford officiating. Burial will be in the Portland Cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, November 23, 2012 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.
