of Lincoln, died Monday (11-19-12). She was 75. The day before she said "I'm feeling lazy today." She passed before all of her 4 kids except Sally, Joie's husband Jim, her parents, Frank & Clara Lambert, and most of her 8 siblings are gone from this earth.

Still breathing are kids Jim, John & Pete, their 6 (grand) kids, sis Juanita & bro Russ, & lots of fun nieces & nephews. Her LOVE was her kids.

Her favorite job was working at the Big Red Shop with her sisters on Husker Saturdays. She didn't really care much for T.O. She was independant and stubborn like most Lamberts. She enjoyed scandolous Harlequin romances and travelled to Paris. Raised on the west edge of Lincoln on Folsom near Salt Creek, her parents were the first owners of what now is the Outpost Tavern. It was a grocery & drive-in-beer-joint & she liked to watch her brothers steal beer and pick-up chicks. Her lifetime love was JIM and they were pretty happy. She didn't suffer and she wasn't in any great pain. Joie was (is) Christian and she accepted everyone else's beliefs.
