Wilma Lee Beck Lambert, daughter of Sam Beck and Sarah Sneed Beck, married Frederick Scott "Fred" Lambert, July 31, 1953, by the Rev. P. E. Snider. Fred son of Jesse Briscoe Lambert and Minnie Evelyn Stiles Lambert.

Wilma passed away on November 20, 2012 at the Tsali Care Center, Cherokee, Swain County, North Carolina.

Wilma was preceded in death by a daughter, Saretta Lambert; brothers, John Q. Beck, Paul Beck, Samuel F. Beck and one grandson, Scott Williamson.

Services at Crisp Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, with burial at Lambert Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband Fred Lambert of 59 years, two children; William "Bill" Beck and Teresa Williamson; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; and one brother..

Wilma and Fred were House parents of the Boys Club Children's Home. She also worked for the wardrobe department for "Unto These Hills." Wilma was a gifted musician and seamstress. Member of the Cherokee United Methodist Church.
