Ronald Stephen Polensky, 64, of Cambridge Springs, died Friday, December 2, 2011 at The Erie VA Medical Center. He was born in Detroit, MI. Son of the late Stephen and Ann Miller Polensky.

Ron proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Air Force. He was also a Detroit Police Officer before moving to Cambridge Springs. Ron was a member of the Cambridge Springs American Legion, Post 381.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 35 years, Diane Lindsay Polensky, of Cambridge Springs; and his brother Gerald Polensky and his wife Pricine of Montana.

Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Until the time of the service at 8:30. There will be an American Legion Service at 7:00 p.m. Conducted by the Cambridge Springs American Legion, Post 381.

Burial will be in Cambridge Springs Upper Cemetery, on Thursday at 2:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Erie VA Medical Center, Hospice, 5th Floor Unit, 135 East 38th Street Boulevard, Erie, PA 16504.
