GRIGGS, FRANKLIN MORTON - Funeral services for Franklin Morton Griggs, 73, who died in Montana, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Assembly of God Church with the Reverend C.D. Spencer officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Griggs was a boilermaker and lived in Hamilton, Mont. He is survived by his widow, Myrtle Griggs of Montana; sons, Franklin and Leo of Bakersfield, Forrest of Fresno and Dan and Vernon of Montana; daughters, Thelma Love of Bakersfield, Betty Pasvogal and Mary Padeskie of Iowa, Irene Soelbert of Oregon and Wilma Lont of Washington; mother, Bettie C. Griggs of Bakersfield; sister, Iva Pyle of Bakersfield; 32 grandchidlren and 16 great grandchildren.
