Lucille C. Thurman
Lucille C. Thurman, 80, of Hutchinson, died Oct. 28, 1999, at Hutchinson Homestead. She was born May 7, 1919, at Kinsley, the daughter of John and Edith Stach Falk. A longtime Dodge City and Hutchinson resident, she was a homemaker. She belonged to St. Teresa's Catholic church, Hutchinson. On April 21, 1941, she married Joy D. "Jack" Thurman at Larned. He died Oct. 20, 1997. Survivors Include; a son, Doug. G., Augusta; a daughter, Diane Hughes, Denver; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jim, Raymond, and Bill Falk.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Hutchinson, with Father Richard Stuchlik presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Memorials may be sent to the church, in care of the funeral home.
