Ricky Dean Hamilton, age 15, of Poplar Plains Road, Flemingsburg, Ky., passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012, in Fleming County, Ky.

Born February 18, 1997, in Maysville, Ky., he is the son of Ricky Lane and Kathy Lynn Dyer Hamilton.

Ricky was a sophomore at Fleming County High School, where he was also a member of the football team. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed the outdoors, especially his construction work with his cousin Leslie. Rick loved his family, had a big heart, and always put others before himself. He attended Wallingford Christian Holiness Church.

In addition to his parents, Ricky is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Heather and Rodney Cummings, Sr., of Hillsboro, Ky., and Hillari and Tommy Brooks of Flemingsburg, Ky., one nephew and two nieces, seven-year-old R. D. Cummings, Jr., four-year-old Brianna Cummings, and newborn Kathy Lynn Brooks, paternal grandmother, Melinda Eubanks Hamilton of Hillsboro, Ky., and maternal grandfather, William S. Dyer, Jr., of Hillsboro, Ky.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2012, at the Fleming County High School, with the Rev. Tom Redmond, Rev. Charlie Hamm, and Rev. Billy Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012, at the Hutton Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Pallbearers: Brandon Hamilton, Leslie Arnold, Kyle Hamilton, Nicky Dean Roark, Lester Blankenship, Jeremy Eubanks, Brad Blankenship, Mitch Layne, and Austin Vice.

Honorary Pallbearers: Fleming County High School Football Team.
