Louise E. Listion Handschin, age 83, of Jackson, GA, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at Westbury Medical Care Home. She was born October 31, 1929 in Ripley, MS to the late Vardaman Listion and the late Cassie Tucker Listion. She was a member of the Jackson Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed gardening, flowers, helping people in her ministry, and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Listion, and sister, Leona Listion Baldwin.
Mrs. Handschin is survived by her husband, Albert W. Handschin, of Jackson; two sons: Randy (Sherry) Handschin, of Warner Robins, GA; Freddie (Jeanette) Sanders of Crenshaw, MS; two sisters, Willa Faye Listion Basham of Jackson, GA and Shirley Listion Rietl of Henderson, TN; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services for Louise Handschin will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Daniel Kehoe officiating.
