San Diego Union, San Diego, California, Wednesday, February 17, 1937, Page 19, Col. 1: Rites for Edmond F. Leach, 72, who died Monday at his home 506 S. Forty-fifth st., will be held this afternoon at 3 at Bonham Brothers' mortuary, the Rev. George F. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery. A native of Missouri, Mr. Leach had resided here 34 years. He was a member of the police department from 1912 to 1915. He engaged in the grocery business for 20 years. Mr. Leach is survived by his wife, Mary J. Leach; four daughters, Harriett H. Pohl, Lottie E. Pohl and Nellie M. Leach of San Diego, and Mary B. Rausis, Gunnison, Colo.; two sons, Arnold E., Charles R. Leach, San Diego; four brothers, John, Samuel Leach Jasper, Ark.; A. M. Leach, Muskogee, Okla.; George W. Leach, San Diego; and two sisters, Ella May Leach, Lavina Morgan, Jasper, Ark. Mr. Leach was a member of Jasper lodge No. 21, F. A. M., of which he was a past master and Jasper chapter No. 75, Royal Arch Masons.
