Forrest L Piggott, resident of rural Owasso, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at St John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 68 years of age. Pick was born May 30, 1944 at Brookfield, Mo to Forrest Leon and Marguerite Roe Piggott. He was raised and received his education in Brookfield, graduating school there. On October 28, 1962 Pick and Nita Sue Singleton were united in marriage at Linneus, Mo. They made their home in the Kansas City area while Pick attended the University of Kansas, where he received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering, he later obtained his masters degree at OSU-Tulsa in Bioenvironmental Engineetring. In 1972, they moved to Tulsa, where Pick bean his careet with the City of Tulsa. He retired in 2001 as the supervisor of the waste water treatment division. In his spare time, Pick enjoyed time on his farm, raising his cattle, gardening and doing improvements to their home.

Those that survive him,include his wife Susie of 50 years of the homel a sister, Janet Fletcher and her husband Jerry of Hale, Mo; and their children, Kate and Alex; a brother Phillip Piggott and wife Marsha of Peru, Indiana, and their children, Matthew, Mike, and Keri; and a sister in law Connie Pigott of Brookfield, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Roger Piggott.

Visitation will be held from 4pm-8pm on Monday, November 19, 2012 and services will be Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 10"00 am in the chapel of Mowrey Funeral Service, Owasso with Pastor Bill Field will be officiating. Pick's request was to be cremated and his ashes will be interred at Laclede Cemetery, Laclede, Mo at a later date. Those that would like to honor his memory may do so by contributing to PET MO-Columbia (Person Energy Transport) in care of Mowery Funeral Service, 9110 North Garnett, Owasso, Oklahoma 74055. This organization provides motorized wheelchairs to those in need. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service, Owasso, Oklahoma.
