I have recently been researching an ancestor by the name of Mary Emma Howe Miley. She was the second wife of Samuel Miley and his first wife's name was Mary Elizabeth Fisher. I have been able to find a record pertaining to this family in the Rickard Cemetery. The following is the inscription of three grave markings:
5. Mary wife of Samuel Miley died Dec. 31, 1852 aged 31 yrs 11 mo and 20 days
7. D(C)ora E. Miley daughter of Sam'l and Mary Miley born July 28, 1856 died Oct. 3, 1872 Samuel Miley died July 26, 1865 aged 55 yrs 10 mo 7 days
8. Samuel Miley died July 26, 1865 aged 55 yrs 10 mo 7 days
This information is consistant with my records but as you can see, the first wife died before Cora E Miley was born thus further evidence that Mary Emma Howe was the mother of Cora E Miley.
