Carl Butler Mitchell, Jr., 90, died November 19, 2012. He was born December 8, 1921 in OKC to Carl and Maurine (Sutherland) Mitchell. A proud veteran, he was awarded a bronze star in the U.S. Army. He retired as Vice-President of Union Bank, currently InterBank. Carl won a National Cup in doubles tennis in the 30's and was active in the Exchange Club and the Young Men's Club. He and Kay enjoyed dancing. He will be joining his parents, first wife, Carolyn Pace, and sister, June McCharen. He is survived by his wife, Kay; son, Brett Mitchell and wife, Julia of CA; stepchildren, Jim Millhorn and wife Kim, IL, Tom Millhorn and wife Betsy, TX, Susie Lemons and husband Don, OK; sister, Sally Oberg, CO; sister-in-law, Patty Pace, TX; grandchildren, Jake, Grace and Shane Millhorn, Heather Silva and husband Reyes, Neans Denson and husband Richard, Eileen Murray and fiancé Heath Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Millhorn, Dylon and Addison Silva, Liam and Ashlyn Denson, and Madelyn Hernandez; many nieces and nephews, and lifelong friend, C. Jack Harris. Memorial service will be Friday, November 23, 4:00pm at Copperchase Condominium Clubhouse, 11300 N. Pennsylvania, OKC.
