Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. The Rev. Gary Schexnayder, pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Lafayette, will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Landry was a native of Cankton and a resident of Lafayette for the last eight years. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Lafayette.
Survivors include two sons, Clarence Landry, Jr. and Nick James Landry both of Hawesville, KY; four daughters, Stacie Lynn Haycraft and her husband, Neil, of Hawesville, KY, Tracy Marie Landry of Opelousas, Lacie Lynn Guidry and her husband, Chris, of Breaux Bridge and Crystal Renee Quibodeaux and her husband, Dustin, of Scott; twenty one grandchildren; five brothers, Joseph Bernard Himel, Jr., Raymond Himel both of Lafayette, Loveless Himel and his wife, Terry, of Chico, TX, Alfred Himel and his wife, Jackie, of Abbeville and Dale Michael Himel and his wife, Mary, of New Iberia; and six sisters, Joanne Owens and her husband, Russell, Mona Guillory and her husband, Danny, all of Lafayette, Theresa Faul, Linda Wingate and her husband, Dallas, all of Church Point, Jeanette Stelly and her husband, Randy, of Carencro and Brenda Himel of Arnaudville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Landry, Sr.; her parents, Joseph Himel, Sr. and the former, Genevieve Mire, both natives of Lafayette; and two sisters, Bonnie Puckett and Connie Marie Himel.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Friday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
