Graveside services for Arthur Leon Call are at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery with Ben Killion officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Benjamin Funeral Service.

Arthur Leon Call passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at his home in Nowata. He was born on June 9, 1933 in Goodman, Missouri to Edward M. and Lillie M. (Shelton) Call. He graduated from Burrton, Kansas School system. For over 30 years Art worked as a welder in the natural gas industry. He moved to the Nowata area about ten years ago. Art enjoyed music and has played a guitar for many years. Recently he has been playing with a group at the Pawhuska Senior Citizens Center. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Art loved to play card games and was a wonderful person. He loved people and enjoyed spending time with his friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Art is survived by a special friend Fern Barrowman, of Nowata; his daughter Amy Call of Wichita, Kansas, his son, Jay Call of Buhler, Kansas; siblings, Sherri Venters and husband Bill, Billie Jean Elkins and husband Don; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and four nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lillie Call.

The family asks that memorials in Art's name be sent to the Pawhuska Senior Center at 200 Palmer Ave. Pawhuska, OK 74056. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
