Leonard Wright "Dub" Nazzrie, 62, a resident of Brunswick, died at his resident Monday 11/19/12.
Dub was a native and lifelong resident of Brunswick. He was employed with Med Tran EMS, Glynn Co. Fire Dept and EMS, Charlton County Sheriff and EMS Dept and the Jekyll Island Fire and EMS Dept. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Viet Nam Conflict.
He was a member of the Ocean Lodge # 214 F. & A.M. He was a loving Husband, Daddy and PaPa.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Susan Young Nazzrie, his parents, James and Mary Nazzrie and a brother-in-law, James Mason.
Survivors are three daughters, Brandi Nazzrie of Brunswick, Lisa Williams (Kenny) of Darien, April Greene (Ricky) of Jesup, Ga., two sons, Chris Nazzrie and Justin Nazzrie (Shawna) both of Brunswick, two brothers, Randy Nazzrie (Beth) and Jimmy Nazzrie (Retta) both of Brunswick, two sisters, Linda Holiday (Ben) of Nahunta, Ga., and Lois Mason of Brunswick, Mother and father in-law, Emory and Margaret Ann Young of Brunswick, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at 2 PM Friday 11/23/12 in the Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery with Masonic Services and Military Services will be held the Graveside.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Jesse Greene, Levi Greene, Walter mason, Glenn Nazzrie, Jeremy Nazzrie, Lance Nazzrie, Darvin Holiday and William Williams.
The family would like to send a special thanks to Darvin Holiday for his help with Susan and Dub.
The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday 11/23/12.
