Charles died of coronary thrombosis ... at the Winnebago County Asylum and was buried at the County Farm Cemetery on 10 Aug 1942 by George Konrad. He was a single white male, a common laborer, insane and born 1885 in Russia. ...

In the 1930 Census, Charles is still residing at the Winnebago County Insane Asylum as a patient. He is single, 45 years old and born in Russia.
