Albina Zink

NAMPA — Albina Zink, 78, of Nampa, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 1991, in a Nampa hospital of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa. A son-in-law, Norman Spann, will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.

Mrs. Zink was born Aug. 30, 1912, at Fairfax, S.D., a daughter of Katherina Fauth and Adam Stroh. She married Gail Zink an Feb. 27, 1936, at Butte, Neb. Following their marriage, they moved to Idaho to make their home. Albina and Gail initially resided in the Wilder and Marsing communities, moving to the Scism community in 1951. In 1962, they moved to the Melmont community near Melba, returning to the Scism community in 1966. In 1977, they moved to Parma, then to Nampa in 1983.

Survivors include her husband, Gail Zink of Nampa; five daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene and Norman Spann of Renton, Wash., Sharon and Denton Cash of Wauchula, Fla., Duree and Dave Allen of Nampa, Vickie and Ivan Fisk of Meridian, and Renee and Terry Stewart of Nampa; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Judy Zink, and Michael and Eileen Zink, all of Boise; three sisters, Katherine Larkin of Hermiston, Ore., Frieda Sorenson of New London, Wis., and Olivia Delfs of Toledo, Ore.; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters and a grandson.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend will be missed by all.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to Mercy Medical Center Intensive Care Unit, 1512 12th Ave. Road, Nampa 83686.
