his obituary from the Guide for Sept. 6, 1979:

Otto Clark, 82, Danville, died Saturday, Sept. 2 (1979), in the Hendricks County Hospital. Born in Stilesville Aug. 16, 1896, he was the son of John William and Emma (Leathers) Clark. He was an elementary school teacher at Lizton and Plainfield, and served as principal of Monrovia Elementary School in 1964. He was a member of the Montclair Christian Church and the Indiana State Teachers Association. His wife, Fern (Majors) Clark, preceded him in death Oct. 18, 1963. He is survived by two nephews, Robert E. Clark, Plainfield and Charles W. Clark, Tiverton, Rhode Island; and two nieces, Mary Ann Moore, Brownsburg and Pauline Hott, St. Petersburg, Florida.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, in the Weaver Funeral Home, Danville, with Rev. Paul Phillips officiating. Burial followed in the Danville South Cemetery.
