WILLIS, Dianne King, born April 13, 1939, in Richmond, went to be with her Lord in the early morning hours of November 17, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Wayne K. Willis, of 31 years; daughters, Tracy Rosser, Leslie Custalow, Brenda Booth (husband, Kevin) and Connie Stanley (husband, Wade); sisters, Faye Funderburke and Phyllis Terry; and grandchildren, Andy and Matthew Sims, Brandon and Allison Stanley and Shandy Myers (husband, Justin); and nephew, Sean Terry (wife, Chris) and their daughter, Sarah; and dear family friend, Jim Coltrain. Dianne was the daughter of Don and Juanita King and a graduate of Hermitage High School. She was a longtime member of Grove Avenue Baptist Church and an active member of the choir. Known for her magnetic personality and thousand watt smile, she engaged everyone she met with genuine care and compassion. She is deeply loved by all and will be dearly missed. Remains rest at Bennett Funeral Home at 11020 West Broad St., where the family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grove Avenue Baptist Church at 8701 Ridge Rd. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery on Patterson Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Words of Victory TV Ministries at Grove Avenue Baptist Church.
