ONE MAN KILLED AND TWO INJURED ON U.P. RAILROAD
Dorsey J. Carter, 30, a car inspector on the Union Pacific, was instantly killed, while J. F. Muse and R. D. Banning, U.P. brakemen, were injured in two different accidents Saturday and Sunday. The accident in which Carter lost his life occurred at 3:40 a.m. Sunday in the east yards here. . . Carter was married and lived at 310 North Beal. He left a wife and five children. He had been employed here two years. . .

Dorsey J. Carter, aged 30 years, employed as car inspector on the Union Pacific here was instantly killed early Sunday morning while working under a freight car with Fred Voss. The car was standing on No. 6 track, when other cars were switched against the car, moving just enough to run over Carter. Voss escaped injury. The deceased leaves a wife and five children living at 310 N. Beal street.
