Edwin G. Juckem 59, of N4485 Highway 57, Chilton, was pronounced dead on arrival Monday evening at Calumet Memorial Hospital in Chilton, after he suffered an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Juckem was born Oct. 26, 1922, in Chilton, son of the late Peter and Margaret Salm Juckem.

He married on Oct. 8, 1952 to Maxine Scheuer at Mishicot. The couple farmed in the town of Chilton.

Mr. Juckem served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1947. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Marilyn) Nooker of Manitowoc; one grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Hugo Schwoerer of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Norbert Kabat of New Holstein; two brothers, Joseph of Chilton, and Henry of Hilbert.
Two brothers preceded him in death.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton. The Rev. Paul Brick pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
