MRS. PHILLIP DEYO

Mrs. Ella R. Deyo, 82, formerly of New Paltz, died Tuesday evening after a long illness, in the the Roosevelt Hospital, New York city. Mrs. Deyo was the widow of the late Phillip Deyo who died in 1929. She was born in Bridge Hampton, Long Island, the daughter of the late Hiram S. and Elizabeth Rogers.
She is survived by one son, Phillip of 8510 - 34 Ave., Jackson Heights, Long Island with whom she made her home, and three sisters, Mrs. Harry S. Ludlow, Bridge Hampton, L. I., Mrs. Charles A. Hildreth of Baldwin, L.I. and Mrs. Walter C. Blasdale, Berkley, Cal.
She was a member of the Washington Heights Chapter of the D.A.R., former president of the New Paltz Study Club, and member of the New Paltz Reformed church. She was also a member of the Wiltwyck chapter of the D.A.R. in Kingston. She was a graduate of the New Paltz Normal School.
Graveside funeral services will be held in the New Paltz Rural Cemetery on Friday, Dec. 16 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Gerret Wullschleger of the Reformed Church officiating.
