The daughter of Allison Woodrow Reynolds and Alice R. Tracy, Barbara married Roy Walls on 01 Apr 1918 in Brookland, Arkansas. He was a self-employed carpenter, and they were the parents of 3 children.

Barbara worked at Olin Corporation in Madison County, Illinois for 5 years. She was a member of the Hazelwood Bible Chapel in St. Louis County, Missouri.

At the time of her death at St. Anthony's Hospital, Barbara was 68 years, 2 months and 7 days old.

She was survived by her husband, Roy; 1 daughter, Helen Lindsted of Wichita, Kansas; 2 sons, Ray Walls of Winona, Missouri, and Larry Walls of Austin, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Clara Gambill of Naylor, Missouri, and Etta Ryder of Kalamazoo, Michigan; 4 brothers, Ples Reynolds of Naylor, Missouri and Adren Reynolds of Winona, Missouri, Birl Reynolds of Souix City, Iowa, and Earl Reynolds of Kalamazoo, Michigan; 4 half-sisters; and 4 half-brothers.

Visitation was held at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, Illinois on 28 Aug 1973. Funeral services were conducted there at 10 a.m. the following morning by Reverend Leonard E. Linsted of Wichita, Kansas.

Barbara's husband, Roy, died in 1986.
