Faye was a homemaker and Mann worked at the Hartford Tannery. He was employed there for 38 years and then worked at the Lewis and Clark grade school for 7 years. After that, he worked part-time as a janitor for the Shell Oil Company in Roxana, Illinois.
The Robinsons lived in Hartford, Illinois for 44 years. They moved to East Alton, Illinois in 1972. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at a reception in the Roxarena in Roxana, Illinois on 25 Jun 1978.
At the time of her death at Alton Memorial Hospital, Faye was 84 years, 6 months and 23 days old.
She was survived by 1 daughter, Dorothy Robinson of East Alton, Illinois; 1 son, Jim Robinson of Wood River, Illinois; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 2 brothers, Steve Jacoby of Hartford, Illinois, and Jack Jacoby of West Alton, Missouri.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Mann; 3 sisters, Esther Steele, Helen Barr and Mary Lovell; and 4 brothers, Wendell Jacoby, Delbert Jacoby, Neal Jacoby and Robert Jacoby.
Visitation was held at Gray Funeral Home in Wood River, Illinois on 16 Dec 1993. Funeral services were conducted there at 10:30 a.m. the following morning.
