Earl was employed at the Shell Oil refinery in Roxana, Illinois. They were the parents of 13 children and endeavored to put them all through high school.
Earl died at Robings Manor at the age of 84 years and 13 days.
He was survived by 3 sons and 3 daughters-in-law; 6 daughters and 4 sons-in-law; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie; 3 sons, Paul, Danny and Kenny Bryant; 1 daughter, Ruth Antrobus; and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation was held from noon until the beginning of funeral services at 1:30 p.m. on the afternoon of 29 Jul 1999 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, Illinois.
Earl was buried next to his wife, Rosie, who passed away in 1998.
