Floyd Wayne Rash, 68, of Rayville, MO, died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond, MO. Floyd Wayne was born on January 5, 1944 to Floyd William and Mae Dean (Barber) Rash. He married Roberta Jean Farmer of Rayville on February 23, 1964; she survives of the home. Additional survivors include his mother Mae Dean, Sibley, MO; two sons Rodney Rash and his companion James H. Williams of Richmond, MO and Kevin Rash and his wife Kim of Lawson, MO; one daughter Rebecca Saling and her husband Paul of Jefferson City, MO; two brothers Ronald K. Rash and his wife Juanita of Kalispell, MT and David Earl Rash and his wife Judy of Rayville, MO; one sister Carol Taylor and her husband Ron of Sibley, MO. Four grandchildren: Ashley Wilson and her husband Tyrone, Kyle Te and his wife Casey, Logan Rash and Hayley Rash; two great grandchildren: Brandon Wilson and Mileah Wilson. He was preceded in death by his father Floyd William Rash. Floyd Wayne worked for Ford Motor Company for 30 years and retired in 1992. He was a lifelong Rayville resident and of the Christian faith. Floyd enjoyed his farm, the outdoors, hunting and fishing with his grandkids. He was a member of the UAW #249. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Floyd Wayne Rash Memorial Fund.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Rayville Christian Union Church in Rayville. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in Crowley Cemetery near Rayville.
