Richard A. Weinandy, 93, formerly of 20 Achre Court, died at 2:44 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1999, in St. Francis Home.

He was born in Tiffin, Oct. 15, 1905, to John P. and Mary Margaret (Kingseed) Weinandy. His wife, Wilma A. (Rahrig) Weinandy, whom he married Nov. 24, 1938, in St. Mary's Church, Tiffin, preceded him in death May 17, 1992.

Survivors include: four sons, John R. Weinandy of Escondido, Calif., James A. Weinandy of La Jolla, Calif., Richard P. Weinandy of Ann Arbor, Mich. and Thomas J. Weinandy of Dublin, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Brian (Patricia) Bour of Bowling Green, Ky.; a brother, Robert Weinandy of Tiffin; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Also preceding him in death were four brothers and three sisters.

Mr. Weinandy, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the National Machinery Quarter Century Club, retired in 1966 from the National Machinery. He was a former member of the church's Holy Name Society.

Monsignor Edward Dunn and the Rev. Richard Dunn will be the co-celebrants at the 10 a.m. Friday funeral Mass in St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rosary will be recited at the church at 9:45 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home, where a Christian Wake service will be at 8:45 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Community Hospice Care, St. Francis Home or a charity of the donor's choice.
