Debra Ruth Olson, 54, of New Boston died Saturday, December 11, 2004, in a Texarkana hospital. Mrs. Olson was born August 6, 1950, in Amity, Ark. She was an licensed vocational nurse and a member of Tapp Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Shannon and Penny Olson and Christopher and Autumn Olson of New Boston; one daughter, Shelly Gentry of Euless, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Kay Jones of Tyler, Texas; five grandchildren; and a special friend, Belvia Harmon of New Boston. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Hastings officiating. Burial will be in Red Bayou Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
