Dennis earned his Bachelor's degree from Purdue University and was a car salesman for over 25 years. He has been employed by Sharp Ford, Butler Toyota, O'Brien Toyota and most recently he was the internet sales manager 8 years for Westgate Chrysler.
He is preceded in death by his father Carl Engel.
Dennis is survived by his loving family including his son, Andrew M. Engel; Mother, Karen Engel; former wife, Jo Ann Engel; brothers, John C. (John Utz) Engel and William R. (Susan) Engel and sister, Kimberly S. (Larry Joe) Engel Miller, niece, Ashley Engel; nephews, William Engel II, James and Aaron Holderfield, Jordin and Brentin Miller.
