Mrs. Billie Carol Ward, age 80, of Spencer. passed away Wednesday, November 14th, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN.
Billie was born in Spencer, TN on September 29, 1932, the daughter of the late Bransford and Elsie (Hale) Madewell.
Funeral Service will be at Spencer Funeral Home, Spencer, TN, on Saturday, November 17th, with Bill Van Hoozier and Titus Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Crain Hill Cemetery.
Billie is survived by her: son - Jonathan Ward of Cookeville daughter - Janna Boyd and husband John Mark of Spencer four grandchildren - Benjamin Boyd, Simon Boyd, Miranda Boyd, and Jonah Boyd sister - Delma Dishman and husband James of Spencer brothers-in-law - Donald Hillis of Spencer Titus Ward and wife Lottie of McMinnville sisters-in-law - Shirley Hitchcock and husband Don of Spencer Mary Lee Brimer of Spencer sisters -in-law - Virgie Ward, Grace Ward, and Jo Dean Ward all of McMinnville Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her husband J.H. Ward, brother Brandsford Jr., two sisters Ida Hillis and Anna Mae Simmons, and three brothers-in-law - John Ward, James Ward, Bill Ward of McMinnville.
