James parents were James Alfred White Sr. (b. 1888 - d. ?) and Sarah Daisy White (1892 - 1975) who immigated from Northern Ireland. He has an Irish/French ancestry. His last name White may have come from the French LeBlanc.

He married 3 times:

2. Lillian (Amore) White (m. 1945)(divorced)
She died of heart failure),
* He married Lillian twice, the second time while married to Julia committing bygomy.
They had a daughter (Barbara Jean (White) Steaben (1947 - 2006) She died of morbid obessity,
3. Julia (Pawlirzyn) White (1919 - 2000, m. 1953)(divorced)
She died of a gram positive infection (cancer) in her spine. Jim and Julie had two sons before he abandoned his family in 1957:
Jeffrey Allen (Dianna) White (b. Mar 25 1954), and
William (Billy) James (JoAnne) White (b. May 28 1957)

Jim died of a heart attack in his home in Sun City, Riverside County, California, USA after suffering several small strokes while living in New York, USA. He enjoyed his new Caddilacs that he leased new every two years and his boat which was named the SS B.J. He had also lived unmarried with several other women during his marriages.

He had a sister, May (White) Scaparro and a twin brother, name unknown (1921 - ?), who died as a child in an accident.

Barbara Ann (Scaparro) O'Brien (1953 - 1974)

James was cremated and his son, William White spread them out at sea in ther Atlantic Ocean. James also served time in prison in the mid 1950's and unfortunitely was not a committed husband or role model and often cheated on his wives nor was he a present father to any of his children, often denying them his parentage. He died alone.
