Ruthie, the daughter of Louis A. and Lillie Jarrell Smith was born January 24, 1922, in Evans, LA. She passed away Monday, November 19, 2012, in Rosepine, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Homer Evans; sons, Miles E. Evans and Jerry K. Evans and daughter, Rhonda B. Evans.
Mrs. Evans loved, quilting, fishing, gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.
Services were under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
