Peggy Lynell ‘Nanny' Keller

Funeral services for Peggy Lynell "Nanny" Keller, 74, of Cullman will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Daystar Church; Rev. Jerry Lawson officiating; with interment in Johnson's Grove Cemetery. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Keller passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012 at St. Vincent's Hospital.

She was a member of Daystar Church and served on many ministry teams including Real Recovery, Primetimers and Master's Hands. She loved to travel and was famous for her oatmeal cookies and peanut brittle. She also made decoration flowers for the public and worked as a caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie J. Godfrey Sr. and Clorah Marks Godfrey; her husband, Bobby Wayne Keller; son, Jimmy Keller; son-in-law, Dennis Tilley; two sisters, Virginia Peterson and Barbara Smith and a brother, Lonnie J. Godfrey Jr.

She is survived by four children, Steve Jackson, Randy (Rita) Keller, Brenda Tilley and Mike (Tammy) Keller; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Keller; three brothers, Harold, Aaron and Rickey Godfrey; a sister, Jellithia "Sissy" Dye; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; her beloved pet, Bear and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
