Elizabeth M. Moseley, 86, widow of Harley Moseley, Jr., died Monday, November, 19, 2012 at Georgia Health Sciences University Hospital in Augusta.
Mrs. Moseley was born on January 5, 1926 in Irmo, SC to Lester Sylverster Moak and Martha Bickley Moak.
She lived in Aiken most of her adult life and was a member of Levels Baptist Church. For many years she worked with her husband at Moseley's Grocery on Park Ave. in Aiken. She was a member of the Bethany Sunday School Class and active member in the Women's Missionary Union. She enjoyed painting, quilting, and crocheting.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy Glover (Neal) of Aiken, Wanda Burkey (Rick) of Goose Creek, SC and Jeanette Porter (Stanley) of New Ellenton; a son David Moseley (Nancy) of Aiken; 8 grandchildren, Beth Simmons, Jonathan Moseley, Amy Herndon, Leigh Anne Moseley, Ron Henderson, Sara Lucas, Dr. Neal Glover, and Julie Whilhite; 8 great- grandchildren, Alexis and Naomi Simmons, Jones and Porter Whilhite, twins, Julianne and Audrey Lucas, Marshall Lucas, and twins, Anne Rollins and Blanton Heardon; two sisters, Ernestine Hudson (O'Neal) of Aiken and Elouise Boyleston of Aiken.
Funeral services will be held at Levels Baptist Church with The Rev. Larry Scales officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
