NAMPA — Services for Britton E (Mose) Barrett, 67, of 556 Sunset Avenue, Nampa, who died suddenly Thursday at the Nampa Livestock Auction, will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Alsip Funeral Chapel by Lloyd Zumwalt and Ralph Splinter of the Jehovah's Witnesses Church. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Barrett was born March 8, 1902, at Moore, Mont., and was reared and attended school there. He married Thelma Edwards on Oct. 21, 1929, at Moore. They moved to Klamath Falls, Ore., in December, 1929, where they resided until 1942 when they moved to Emmett, and to Nampa in 1952. He was employed at the Yale Park ,Service Station for 12 years until he retired because of ill health. At the time of his death, he was working part time for the Nampa Livestock Auction. He was a member of the Nampa Jehovah's Witnesses Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thelma I. Barrett, Nampa; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (June) Peterson, Emmett, Mrs. Roy L. (Barbara) Smith and Mrs. Donald (Debbie) Pitchford, both of Nampa; a brother, Glen Barrett, Emmett: six sisters, Mrs. Caroline England, Pilot Rock, Ore., Mrs. James (Betty) Conroy, Merrill, Ore., Mrs. Scott (Dorothy) Gardner, Lewistown, Mont., Mrs. Ray (Thelma) Younck, Klamath Falls, Ore., Mrs. Kay (Norma) Issitt, The Dalles, Ore., and Mrs. Homer (Thula) Lemmonn, Portland, and four grandchildren.
