Janis Ward, 64, of Union, Wash., died Monday.
Janis was born in Corvallis to Floyd and Vernita Coon Williamson, and grew up on Peoria Road at Oakville. Most recently of Washington, Janis enjoyed bowling, traveling and tutoring math at a Shelton, Wash., literacy center.
She married Robert Ward in 1969. He died in 1992. Janis is survived by her son, Alan, of Bothell, Wash.
