Mrs. Viola (Davis) Trescher, 71, widow of Charles F. Trescher, died early Sunday at her home, 259 East Main Street. Apparently in good health Saturday, having spent the evening at the home of her sister, Mrs. C. L. Long, East Main Street, she became ill after retiring and died suddenly. She resided with her granddaughter, Miss Mildred Kerr. Her only daughter, Mrs. William Kerr died in 1922.
Mrs. Trescher was a sister of Frank and Sylvester Davis, Midland; John P. Davis, Vale Summit, and Mrs. Mary E. Shaffer, Jacksonville, Florida.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. from the residence with Harry J. Pearson of the International Bible Students, officiating. Interment will be in Allegany Cemetery.
