Evelyn Kile Akers, 91, of Sistersville departed this life Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in Trinity West Hospital, Steubenville, OH. She was born in Tyler County, August 20, 1921 a daughter of the late Asa and Florence Ling Kile.
Evelyn is survived by two sons; Roger and Steve Akers. A daughter Nancy Hezoucky. Eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Orville Akers in 2008. Two brothers; Jack and Bill Kile. Two sisters; Irene Dillon and Betty Ball.
Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Furbee Funeral Home, Route 18, Tyler. Funeral service will be Saturday 1:00 pm at Victory United Methodist Church, Indian Creek Road, Alma. Interment in Victory Cemetery.
