Funeral Services for SYLVIA ANN LEWIS, a respiratory polio patient since July 1951, will be held at 3 pm today in the Lakeshore Drive Church of Christ.
Burial will be in the Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of the Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Miss Lewis, 30, died at 8:20 am Tuesday, April 17, 1973 in Confederate Memorial Medical Center's Polio Ward.
She was a native of Dallas, Tex., and had lived in Shreveport since 1949. She received her education at Jewella Elementary School, and Lakeshore Junior High School. Although she attended classes by telephone, she was graduated summa cum laude from Fair Park in 1961 and was a member of the school's National Honor Society.
Miss Lewis was a member of the Lakeshore Drive Church of Christ, and recently had attended several services in a portable iron lung.
