Rites held for brother of Henry Bosacker
Funeral services were held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Peterson Funeral Chapel in Waterville for Lawrence Bosacker, age 63, of Darwin. Rev. Raymond Swanson of the German Lake Lutheran Church officiated and burial was in the Cedar Hill cemetery in Elysian.
Casket bearers were Theodore Bosacker, Curtis Ellingsworth, Edgar Guentzel, Milton Guentzel, Oscar Berndt and Erwin Verschoor.
Lawrence Bosacker died Tuesday, November 8, of a heart attack at Darwin, Minnesota.
He was born July 25, 1903, in Elysian Township to the late Victor and Margaret Bosacker. During his lifetime he was an operating engineer on road construction.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Miller of Montevideo and Mrs. Mayonne Nagel of St. Paul; six grandchildren; two brothers, Henry of Janesville and Charles, and three sisters, Mrs. Anna Tiede, Mrs. Kate Crook and Mrs. Ella Guentzel, all of Elysian.
