SUN CITY - Helga Oiesvold Johnson, 97, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at her home.
Born Jan. 13, 1906, in Bodo, Norway, she lived in Sun City for 33 years.
She was a homemaker for more than 26 years. She came to the United States in 1948. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Sun City.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Johnson; parents Oluf and Bertine Pettersen Oiesvold; eight brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by her niece, Inger Antonsen of San Marcos.
Visitation will be available from 9 to 9:30 a.m. before the funeral service at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at the Faith Lutheran Church, 28200 Portsmouth Drive in Sun City with the Rev. Judith Stone officiating.
Interment will be at Perris Valley Cemetery in Perris.
