Glenda Louise Douglas, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, became precious in the sight of the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012. Celebration of life: Noon Tuesday at Community Baptist Church, the Rev. R.J. McGinty officiating. Interment: Cedar Hill. Visitation: 1 to 5 p.m. Monday at Baker Funeral Home, with family hour 7 to 8 p.m., at the church. She was born Dec. 20, 1947, in Palestine. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Survivors: Loving husband of 44 years, Charles Edward Douglas Sr.; son, Charles Edward Douglas Jr. (Carmen); daughters, Margena Michelle Douglas and Briggitte Charlene Douglas-Stevenson (Michael); brothers, Vern Angton Sr. (Barbara), John Henry Cummings (Linda), John Davis Angton Sr. (Ruby); sister, Bobby Faye Lindsey ("Jack"); seven grandchildren, Ronnie Eugene Moss Jr., Alexus, Kennedy, Janiyan, Caleb, Charles and Lauren; and other relatives and friends.
